FUSE

BIA News

Part of a Region of Waterloo BIA led initiative to bring more colour and connection to our public spaces together! #FuseWR

Waterloo Region's largest BIA's, Uptown Waterloo, Kitchener and Downtown Cambridge, have announced FUSE, a collaborative art project.

The three worked with local arts group BOKO to develop a series of installations.

BOKO is an integrative design team providing services spanning from structural, visual and digital designs.

FUSE was created to inspire a sense of wonder, intrigue and excitement. It's a collection of interactive light installations that can sense movement and pass communication to other columns.

Public art provides a unique experience to everyone. The launch of this project could not have been timelier in thanking and giving back to the community. Our focus from the beginning was to create an interactive art piece that would be modular in order for it to be re-used and reimagined in the future. This project is a show of our appreciation for the support to our small businesses across the Region
